LAB NIR-O™
GUIDED WAVE™ Full Spectrum Near-Infrared (NIR) Lab Analyzer
Description
RELIABLE, NIR LAB ANALYZER
For Multi-Channel Extended Range Near-Infrared Spectroscopic Analysis
Our GUIDED WAVE™ LAB NIR-O™ full spectrum laboratory analyzer was engineered to enable calibrations developed in the lab to be moved directly to our NIR-O process analyzer in the field. This allows seamless and precise data transfer with high accuracy and reliability. The LAB NIR-O is a 6 channel near-infrared (1000-2100 nm) analyzer. It includes the Stability Monitoring System (SMS) filter and scripts for routine validation of hardware and optical performance.
This is a complete system that includes a spectrometer, and computer with software for data acquisition and analysis. It uses a high-resolution grating spectrometer and a tungsten-halogen light source to achieve accurate and precise measurements over a wide spectral range (1000-2100 nm).
Its modular design allows for easy integration with a variety of sampling accessories, including transmission and reflectance probes, flow cells, and gas cells. This flexibility makes it suitable for use in a wide range of industries, including refining, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and biotechnology.
The GUIDED WAVE LAB NIR-O full spectrum laboratory analyzer is also equipped with advanced software for data acquisition and analysis, including chemometric analysis tools to facilitate multivariate calibration and prediction.
SUPPORTING QUALITY CONTROL IN LABORATORIES
The quality control lab is often responsible for verifying the accuracy of process analyzers by reviewing grab samples. The built-in software of the GUIDED WAVE LAB NIR-O full spectrum laboratory analyzer allows engineers and technicians to combine reference values with sample spectra. This data can then be quickly loaded into third party chemometric tools such as Solo (Eigenvector), Pirouette™, or Unscrambler™ for additional analysis and model maintenance. Often there is an advantage to chemometric model development or model validation if the spectrometer design used in the QC lab is identical with that used in the process. Additionally, using the same probes in the QC lab as the field allows for spare parts to be shared.
INDUSTRIES
Here is a list of some industries that use the GUIDED WAVE LAB NIR-O full spectrum laboratory analyzer:
- Refining
- Food and beverage production
- Chemical production
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Agriculture
- Biofuels
- Petrochemicals
- Polymer production
- Environmental monitoring and testing
CUVETTE HOLDER
The Single Cuvette Holder comes with an optional, removable solid-state filter holder for easy analyzer system validation. This cuvette holder is standardized for cell pathlengths of 10mm or 20mm. It connects to any GUIDED WAVE analyzer through a pair of intrinsically safe fiber optic cables. The cuvette holder can be configured at the time of order for operation in either the VIS-NIR spectral range or the UV-VIS spectral range.
GAIN PEACE OF MIND FOR YOUR PROCESS – STABILITY MONITORING SYSTEM (SMS)
An important consideration for successful implementation of spectroscopic analyzers is the ability to continually validate the performance of the analyzer system’s hardware components. The ASTM D6122 standard addresses this concern by out lining testing requirements.
Our GUIDED WAVE™ Stability Monitoring System SMS™ is a hardware/software package that continuously monitors the accuracy and precision of the analyzer thus ensuring the LAB NIR-O analyzer is producing validated spectra for your applications. The SMS exceeds the requirements of ASTM D6122 for analyzer validation without the need for consumables or human interaction. A fiber optic jumper cable must be installed on channel 6 or 12.
